    How much is a new T60 with Core 2 Duo chip? Who's got em? What's the model number of the 2Ghz model?

    I can't find any besides the custom built at Lenovo's site. I want to buy one from a merchant.

    I haven't seen any Core 2 Duo ThinkPads available from other merchants yet. Most are still selling Core Duo. I would just order from Lenovo during one of their sales because you probably aren't going to do much better through another merchant and you won't be able to customize it.

    2007-7JU, 2008-J2U, 1953-DDU, 1951-2SU, 2623-KEU, 2007-GDU, 2008-GDU, 2623-KFU.

    I know in the case of the 2007-7JU that unless you're buying through EPP it's cheaper to customize your own. Also, I don't know if any of these are at merchants yet.

    The TopSeller Program now only offers Core 2 Duo CPUs. The 1.66GHz T5500 laptops start at $1,044, and the 2 GHz T7200 laptops $1,194 ($150 more).

    BTW, if you want to make it easier to find these for yourself, when you go to lenovo.com click Large Enterprise, that way shows you the pre-configured models.
