When I try to run the Roxio Easy Media Creator software (eg. Record Now) that came preinstalled with my T61p it is coming up with a pop-up box displaying the following error message - "The certificate file is missing or has been corrupted. Please re-install it."
I usually access it through the "Multimedia Centre for Think Offerings" folder via the Start Menu.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I really don't want to re-format the laptop. Is there a way to uninstall the software and then use reinstall it using the Rescue and Recovery CD's?

This may be of interest. All of the software installed on your machine is located in the SWTools folder on the C:\ drive, if you feel the need to re-install it.

I do what I can. I found the solution by pasting your error message into google. If you ever get stuck again, it's a good place to start.
