    HI,
    I have bought w500 (4058-CTO ) but this laptop doesn't have the dvd-rw, but only CD-RW.
    I have found on ebay two dvd rw, but I don't know if they are compatible with my laptop.

    the two items have differents FRU, they can be all right for me

    Looks like they both have the same FRU? The first linked item should work for sure. Its FRU is listed on part websites and shows the W500 as compatible.
