The leftmost heatsink seems lopsided, is it normal? Will this affect the operation of the NB? Thanks in advance! :)

Looks like one of the fins on the heat sink is damaged. If the system is running fine I would not be too worried about it, it is just one fin and should not affect cooling performance.

However here is what I would do. Call support, and let them know that you got your new system, and one of the fins on the cooling heat sink seems to be damaged (bent inwards) and you would like to know if this will cause any problems. Maybe ask them to make a note of the damage in their systems, or e-mail them so you have something in writing.

They will probably say the same thing that I have, but it's good to have problems on record with them incase you develop a problem later and they just say you damaged it.

CodeMonkeyX is right , call them and make sure they put a note for you , this will help you to return your system without any re-stocking fee during 21 days if you have any issues or don't like your system or they will tell you if it may cause any problem
