I have a Ideapad Y510 and started experiencing a problem where the touch control buttons(to control the eq's and load up the dolby sound configuration thingy..?) no longer work since a few months ago. when i press them, i simply get an error message saying Hcontrol is not working.. or something.

i did a little bit of research on this issue but all threads pointing towards this problem are over 2 years old. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the intel wireless driver and the hcontrol drivers but the problem still persists. can someone please point me to the right direction?

    thanks.
