I just recently got my Y500 along with a 256gb Crucial mSSD and I have been following this guide to move Windows 8 to the SSD: Triple Your Speed: How to Install an mSATA SSD Boot Drive in Your Laptop

However, I've been having some issues. First of all, I can not find the boot order settings in the BIOS, which I need to place the SSD at a higher priority. Do I need to disable UEFI first to see this setting? Second, I have been trying to use EasyBCD to change the boot drive to the one on the SSD, but it's saying that the drive needs to be a primary drive to do this, when Disk Management says it already is. Are there any good workarounds for this problem? Do I even need to use EasyBCD once I have changed the boot priority?
