So, I accidentally kept my T61p plugged for the entirety of last night while it was off. Does Lenovo powermanager make sure that the compuer does not charge even though the computer is off? Or have I overcharged the battery and damaged future capacity? Anything I can do to alleviate the effects of this, or will I just have to live with it?

You won't damage the battery. Some say it may not last as long. My wife uses my 3 year old HP zv6005us and we've left it plugged in most of the time. Still works great and the battery holds a charge.

"accidentally" leaving your machine plugged in overnight is not an issue. I do it on purpose all the time. Set your charging thresholds to 96% so that the battery won't keep topping off and you will be fine. LiOn loves to be fully charged and hates to be completely discharged.

How much charge? After a year and a half of doing the same thing, I'm only getting about 20 mins :(
