    Has anyone actually orderd and RECEIVED a Z60M?

    I ask this question out of pure curiosity, because if I remember correctly, they were first posted on the IBM/Lenovo website around October 10 (correct me if I am wrong)...I ordered mine October 30, and the status on mine just went from within 2 weeks to back-ordered (est. ship date of Dec 9th has not changed since day 1). Fortunatly I have a T42p (work issued) that is doing fine for me, but I am very interested as to whether these have actually been shipped at all. I can't wait to get my hands on mine, thats for sure.

    heh, welcome to Z series nightmares. To receive Z series laptop directly from lenovo, you are required to have one qualification, that is called "patience". I'm still waiting my z60t, and hoping they won't backorder mine.

    I ordered Z60m on 11/02. At that time est. shipping date is 12/06. In between they back ordered the system two times but the shipping date(12/06) didn't change..Today they changed the shipping date to 01/06/06. Very much frustrating.....!

    I ordered my z60t through PC Mall on 11/14 and came today. Seems if you buy through a vendor, they can get it to you faster. I called my rep at PC Mall yesterday when he told me mine had shipped (big kool aid smile that followed shortly after) and asked if he had any z60m's in stock. He said he had some 60gig z60m's but not sure how long they would last. Couldn't get much details on the config except the 60gig hd. They had about 5-6 in stock I believe if anyones interested.
