I've been using Win7 for a while, and I just recently tried to get Virtual XP up and running. I forgot to enable Hardware Virtualization, so I boot into my BIOS, and lo and behold, there's no option. I have an Ideapad Y530 40512YU with a P8400 so I SHOULD have support for it but by default for some odd reason it's disabled. Is anyone aware of a new BIOS update or any method to get it working?
On a side note if no one knows, about how much do you think I could sell it for? It's got great specs and it runs really well but the lack of Virtualization is extremely irritating, and if anything I'll see how much a good ASUS is or a cheaper Thinkpad. Love Lenovo, but they dropped the ball this time, and I'd like something a bit smaller anyway. It does have some scratching on the top media bar and near the bottom of the screen, but other than that it runs perfectly.

Hardware Virtualization is not supported on the IdeaPad line of Lenovo products. Unfortunately, you will be unable to use XP Mode in Windows 7.

Ya, figured as much. I'll try contacting them if I remember.
