    By the looks of the T500 manual, you might end up voiding your warranty by replacing RAM, as thats heck of a lot you have to do just to get to it.

    It is a bit more than many will feel comfortable doing. I think Lenovo's RAM price is not that bad anyways so those trying to save $5 and install it yourself may want to reconsider.
