I`m looking to upgrade my hard drive in my T60.I never made back up discs when I received my PC.I have several minor problems with crap I installed over the last few months .So I want a clean install on my new drive .How much will IBM charge me for new install discs ? Is there any other way to do a fresh install without factory discs ?If I just do a XP pro install can I still load the T6o updates ?Oh yeah I`m upgrading to a Hitachi 7200rpm drive.

if your computer is still under warranty lenovo should send you the disks for free. Run the magical jelly bean program to get your CD key and then you can borrow a friends XP pro cd to do the install. you can easily load up all the T60 drivers using system update 3.0 and maybe some additional downloading off the lenovo site.
