i opened my laptop today and started typing and realized that the right half of the spacebar doesn't work!! is there a way to fix this? the left side is fine as you can see i'm typing properly, but the right side doesn't work on the far end. is this covered under regular lenovo warrany??

It should be covered by the warranty, but I could be wrong. Best bet is to call up support and explain your situation. They'll probably send you a new one afterward

It should be covered. They'll most likely send you a keyboard replacement.

Have you tried examining if the spacebar is properly snapped in place? Sometimes, the keys are dislodged from the support mechanism underneath. Try to push down on the right side of the spacebar and see if will snap back in place.

If that does not work, your keyboard is broken and Lenovo will send you another keyboard if you are under warranty.

Indeed, I have offered the diagnosis of "boken key" and received a whole new keyboard for my t61, which I needed.
