    HELP ME!!!...............find the right thinkpad

    I'm trying to find a duo 2 core thinkpad.

    I cant seem to find where to do the proper configuration on lenovo website

    Ive been a HP User for almost 9 years, since my friend got the DV6000, i dont want to get the same thing as him. :)

    Here is what i would like to get for my new laptop:

    my main concerns are a must have:
    15.4 wsxga or higher
    dedicated video card with 256MB
    webcam
    bluetooth
    an option for second bay hard drive

    anything with these option is good
    core 2 duo
    DVD+RW
    Memory size doesnt matter
    Hard drive size doesnt matter

    the Z61m is something I was thinking of getting that fits my needs, but i don't see that listed in lenovos website any more? can anyone help me find the right page?

    by the way can the N100 use a second bay Hard drive?

    the z61m is discontinued and replaced by the t60 widescreen.

    Well, I like my z61m. Wish I went with a PMR drive or 7200rpm though. I use VMWare and the disk access slowness can get annoying. Though that will be fixed when I get another drive for the bay.

    so what is the difference between the z60 and the T60?

    The bay on the n100 is not modular. Might want to look at the HP nc8430.

    does any of the HP models have webcam? cant seem to find any details on that, im guessing not.


    btw is my only choice for thinkpad 15.4 core 2 duo with webcam the Z61m? and its also thick right?

    The Z61m is thicker than the T60. The Z61t as a camera option as well.
