First off, if this has been answered, I apologize. I did a search but was unable to come up with how to do this.

I just got a Y580 today and I also have a 256GB mSATA to replace the 16GB mSATA.

Essentially, I am looking to clone the HDD to the 256GB mSATA and then use the mSATA as the OS/boot drive. Yes I can do a clean install and there is a guide for that here but I do not have install disks handy.

My attempts at this failed. I used Easeus Partition Manager to clone HDD -> mSATA, removed the HDD, tried to boot up but was unable to get the mSATA to boot up. I tried the advice on this page: Qlik Tips: Fix a Windows 8 boot issue but no luck.

Any help you can provide is most appreciated.

    Regards,
    RZ
