    My N100 has 2 options:
    1. S-video.
    2. That other outlet that looks like an ordinary screen outlet.

    so my first Q is:
Which one of this is better if I want to hook my N100 to a TV (not an LCD one, a regular on) ?

    The second Q is that:
I went to a few electronic stores today. I asked for an S-video cable. But non of them had a 7 pin cable. just 4 pins.
I will try to look in more places, but the thing is: my TV has a 4 pin S-video inlet, and my N100 has a 7 pin S-video outlet. Such a cable excists ??? I mean a 7 pin in one end and 4 pin the other.

I am dying to conect my laptop to my TV (34"). what should I do ?
And by-the-way: if I will find that kind of cable, will the reselution will be good enough to read word documents from ???

    Thanks a million !!!

I mean - If my N100 has a 7 Pin input, what does a 4 pin good for ? Are U by any chance seggesting I will rip apart 3 out of the 7 pins (because someone told me to do that - and I had no idea if he is laughing or being serious) ???

The connector on the N100 should be a female connector. You can just plug the 4 pin cable into the 7 pin connector without any problems.

    EDIT:
S-video only needs four pins to operate:
    Pin 1 GND Ground (Y)
    Pin 2 GND Ground (C)
    Pin 3 Y Intensity (Luminance)
    Pin 4 C Color (Chrominance)

Is it an HDTV or regular TV. If it's HD capable the VGA will give you the same resolution as your computer display, within the scan rate limit of the TV set. If you have a VGA in I would assume it's an HD display of some sort that displays progressively and probably is natively 720P.
