Following some other folks example, I created a new account and got through the SPP checkout. I meant to create a quote at the end, but inadvertently *half* clicked on "Order"--by "half" I mean I pressed down the button but moved away the mouse without releasing it on "Order" as soon as I realized the error. As a result, I do not know whether the order was placed or not! It probably was! Worse, I can't check the "Order Status" because I don't have the customer # and the order #! (I don't have the page that would normally follow when you clicked "Order"). If I click on "My Account" I got "Apologies...page unavailable" again.

Lenovo is closed for the weekend. What's the best I can do now?

Well customize the same notebook again and when you try to proceed to checkout, you will be redirected to log in. Once you log in go to my account and see if the order went through.

I just got an email from Lenovo thanking me for the purchase! $1 less than before actually :) But it doesn't show the configurations--I'm going to use the order number to check now.

Edit: OK I just got to check the order status and found the configs. Do you guys think I can cancel the order on Monday if I want to? Or perhaps ask the rep to convert it to a quote? Nothing I can do online by myself now, right?

It seems the order than went through was ok, however since I had to open a new account (different email address) to checkout, is there a way to completely remove my original (first) account at all?

Edit: Since the email address I used for checkout is different than the one registered for fatwallet, I fear that I won't be able to use fatwallet even if I change the email address now???

I was able to use the same email address for both of my accounts, just with a different login name.

I wish I used the same email address for Lenovo accounts in the beginning. But now the problem is mainly on the fatwallet side, namely: if I signed up an email address *after* placing order with that email address, will I still get the discount?

    To clarify, here's my situation:
    1. signed up fatwallet using email A.
    2. Placed order with Lenovo using email B (because email A will not get to checkout).
    3. Exchanged email addresses A and B at Lenovo accounts (now the one that has the order placed has email address A).
    4. Signed up fatwallet using email B.

What gives? Will fatwallet send me the cash back for my purchase?

Email doesn't matter as long as you went to the Fatwallet site, signed in, and clicked the Lenovo link through them.

Thanks! I also got email reply from fatwallet confirming what you said. At the same time, I have managed to change both my Lenovo accounts to have the same email address. It seems now this can happen only if one account is with the regular lenovo, the other is with SPP. I must sign in using the different user ID, but not the email address (since they have the same email address). If anyone encountered the same issue, I'll appreciate if you could confirm this. :)

P.S. JaeZtt (or others), how do fatwallet get our mailing addresses (for the check)? From Lenovo?
