hey Guys... Ok.. Here is the deal. I got this Notebook off of Ebay last week, and it is brand new. However it seems to be very slow on the boot, and during multitasking (if you consider running Itunes and browsing multitasking). And coming out of hibernation.. Specs.. Pentium M 760 Dothan, 2GB RAM/ 100GB drive. ATI X600 128MB Dedicated video Ram. From the specs, I would expect so much more but It is really really bad. I come from an AMD Laptop bacground and P4 Desktops, and dont have these issues. This is my first centrino, and I am not sure if this is a common issue with Centrino or if it is the IBM software and its 70 processess that it needs to run. I have re-imaged to factory specs over 5 times, tweaking here and there, but to no avail... sluggish. Any ideas? Oh, and the CPU seems to always be working too hard. Again.. I am not to familiar with Pentium M.. Thanks! You can post here, or email me directly @ [email protected].
