I just tried installing ubuntu 7.10 on the T61 and now it gives me an error and it wont boot into anything. It just stalls on the loading screen. In the middle of the install it gave me an error screen but I pressed enter and it finished installing and now it doesnt load anything and I cant install any other O.S's because it doesnt recognize the HDD.

    T61 3gb mem, 100gb 7200rpm, 2.4ghz etc..

I've heard of several issues with the t61p and the new 7.10 version. See if 7.04 works. Probably Canonical will fix these problems in the next few weeks...

I am trying to install w/e OS i Can but each time it gives me an error saying either bootmgr is missing or something like it and I cant access anything. Plus I even tried using the Recovery media CD that i burned it finishes but gives an error at the end.
