I started trying to create my product recovery discs for my Lenovo t400, which from what I read, is only 3 discs but I am up to my 7th or 8th burnt disc. I am doing something wrong or can it simply be that the discs are too small
for all the data? I just received the computer today so it is basic factory settings, nothing has been installed.
It simply just keeps asking to insert blank disc/cd # 6 - 7 - 8, etc.
EDIT: After the 8th disc I just canceled it and figured I would retry, now there is no options under "select the recordable drive:"

For my T500 it took one CD for the first "start recovery disc" and 2 DVDs(4 gigs or so each) for the disc 1 and 2, while using pretty much almost all of the second disc. So if your using CDs it may need a bunch of em.

ahh damn. I stopped the process and was 8 CD's in that hold 497MB each. Guess I'm going to need more.

Just get some DVD-Rs.

Problem is I did not upgrade to the DVD writer, just the base model burner.

I found I needed 13 CD's.

Nevermind.
