    Hello,

I just put in an ssd in the expansion drive at the side. The one you just have to slide the drive in and you´re good to go. But, with the old hdd earlier ocupying the bay I was wondering if there is another expansion slot somewhere in the computer or if there´s only the one.

You can have two hard drives with the X220, but one has to be a mSATA, which plugs into the miniPCI slot under the palm rest.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the reply, guess I´ll get an external drive for downloads.

Nah, when I had my X200 and X200t, I hated having everything on the external. I've got the 80GB mSATA and 500GB Hitachi Z5K500. It's fantastic.

Wait, you can install a second HDD in the X200's chassis?

Nevermind, I see you have the X220, so I'm assuming you were saying an external (read: USB) HDD was annoying with the X200. Makes sense.
