I have a new T61P with 100GB 7200rpm hdd and it clicks when I play Supreme Commander. Like Tick-Tick-Tick sound. Not a grinding or loud click but still audible tick sound..

Is this normal? Or should I give Lenovo a call. I hope its not failing. I ran all the HD tests and everything says its fine and no errors. PC Doctor said it was fine as well.

May I add that is does this only during Supreme Commander and The Witcher.

The Seagate HDD's are more prone to problems than the Hitachi it seems. You can search these forums for a solution.

Other than that, I can only recommend that you send it in for a replacement. Make sure to send in only the HDD and not the computer.
