I have a thinkpad x61 with 4gb of ram and a processor with 2.0 Ghz. I think that with 4gb of Ram the start of operative system will be more faster. And respect to the activity of HDD I see that the hard disk registry a lot of activity. Any solution....?? Thanks

It will be quicker, but when the system is loading up it has to pull a lot of files and information from the hard drive to make the system functional. At least that is what I think you are asking.
