    HD+1600x900 .icc profile SORTED color

    After some calibration session, it come up this will be best icc to sort colors and gama on this panel and get fair gradient.
    This display has smaler gamut than sRGB in red area, so red is still not spot on and blue is litle out, but white point is very close.
    If you find colors looking wash out and text haveing not enough contrast as I did u may use gama 2.4 for calibration.

    should improve colors(blueish cast) on lenovo t510 1600x900 panel

    Hi gipsy, how do you load a color profile?

    By the way, is there only one manufacturer for the HD+ panel?

    So I loaded this color profile onto my T510. I myself have no eye for color, so it seems to me this new profile is more correct than the default, but I cannot easily judge. I didn't realize that the default settings were so blue. On gamma tests such as here ( Monitor calibration and gamma, everything blends together nicely into gray, whereas before I could see the pattern. I noticed that this calibration seems to be for gamma 1.8. What is the difference between gamma at 1.8 versus gamma at 2.2? I read somewhere that 2.2 is good for PCs?

    One thing that seems to be problematic is that the contrast is too high on this profile. I can only see blacks down to 5 here, whereas before (when I played around with intel graphics settings), I could see the darkest square. Black level - Lagom LCD test

    Thank you for uploading this. I hope more people notice this.

    Problem with this panel is, when you change viewing angle for a bit gamma changes rapidly, anyway gamma in this icc file was adjusted to 2.2, so there may be diference in panel.
    iIf you look here
    Monitor Gamma Correction
    and tilt your display, gamma changes anywhere from 3.0 to 1.6 for me, but it has to be right for normal angle of your display.
    About color, I use solid color background for my desktop, the green one from win95(it is first green in palete of desktop background in win 7) if you rember. On this display if I use it without caliration it is anything but win95 green and with calibration it is spot on for me

    Hmm, for me, all the charts show that the calibration profile makes the gamma output 1.8. I have to tilt back the display for it to give me 2.2. My display model is LP156WD1-TLB2, made by LG.

    Pretty good color and viewing angle overall though.

    Hi. I stumbled upon this page after discovering I have the LP156WD1-TLB2 display in my Clevo w860cu. I loaded your icc profile, and it is night and day for me! :) I also never realised the display was so blueish, and could never get the gamma right in the windows screen calibration. :eek:

    Now I am using your profile and it is so much better, almost like a new display! Thanks so much for sharing this! +rep :)

    finally somebody did measure the panel, good work. Do you have any results how the panel is accurate? Its gamut and deltas?
    Don't forget everybody that every panel is different so the provided ICC profile can help but can hurts.
