    HD+ LCD cable for T420 - 04W1618

    Does anyone know where I can get this part? On Lenovo's support website, it lists this cable as the part used for the 1600x900 display. I'm trying to swap out my lower resolution display but I can't find a place that stocks this cable. Has anyone else tried swapping out the HD screen for an HD+ screen on a T420?

    You should be able to source it from Lenovo direct. They have a number somewhere on their site for ordering parts.

    Thanks for the tip. I was able to get it from Lenovo direct the next day (their default shipping for $14 flat rate). I installed the HD+ screen and cable and it works perfectly.
