Is there some sort of software I need for this harddrive locking mechanism for when you are moving or if you drop your laptop? I formatted and so I dont think I have this software if there is one.

Also, how do I get that battery icon in the task bar again?

    Thanks
None of these should bog down my system right?

I think you'll be ok. You may have to adjust the sensativity for APS so your videos or music don't skip when you're moving your notebook around.

I think my computer came with Diskeeper before I formatted. Is there anyway I can get that back?

Oh and also, can I move my computer in sleep mode in my backpack now?

Not sure about Diskeeper, but if you enable Hibernate and use that to shut your system down, you'll be fine moving your system around, that's how I do it and I haven't had any difficulties at all.

Sleep stops the spinning of your hard drive as well so you are fine. When I move class to class I use sleep mode. For extended periods of time I use hibernate.
