So the new Guitar Hero 3 for PC is coming out...and the system requirements just got updated to this:

    MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

This product does not support Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/NT/XP x64/Vista x64

    RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

    NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 8700

I don't know graphics cards/systems too well, but the requirements seem a little high for a guitar hero game...nevertheless, would my T61 be able to handle it?

    INTEL CORE 2 DUO T7300
    Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
    NVIDIAQUAD NVS 140MW/WWAN
    2Gig Memory
    1Gig Turbo Memory

Please help before I shell out $80 for this =/

It should be fine. I don't know why graphics are needed that much when its mainly moving tabs on neon lines :p

Yeah...it seemed a little weird to require such high requirements...doesn't look like they'll sell too well =/

So wait, the one and only operating system this will support is 32-bit Vista? Obviously Microsoft paid them off to make it Vista only, but then they couldn't even be arsed to support 64-bit Vista? That's freaking ridiculous. And how on earth do they justify a DDR knockoff requiring a GeForce 7600? All it has to do is render tabs, ffs.

NVS 140m = GeForce 8400, which is on the list.

If you are going to do any 3D gaming, I would make sure that your laptop is outfitted with a dedicated graphic processor, as in the T61P.
