I was going back and forth between the Sony and the Thinkpad and just couldn't decide. I bailed on the Sony after trying the keyboard, but missed the sale. I was hoping for a 410. Any idea if its worth waiting for another sale on those or is that not likely to happen in the next few months?

Lenovo always has coupons. It shouldn't take long before more pop up.

Go to Logicbuy.com or some other site to get their ecoupons.
USPRETHINK gives you 5% off
USP0318T410S gives you 15% off
Also if you go through BING CASHBACK, you get an additional 10% cash back.
I've verified the codes, by putting it in my shopping cart, then testing it.
Also still free shipping at this point.
So you can get 30% off on a 410s and free shipping.
$1815 base price
$1399 on sale
(-$485) -15% -5% coupons
-$100 on top of that.

Thanks a bunch. Is this for 410 only (I know that code is), or are there codes for the 510 as well? Guess I'll hunt around but just thought I'd ask since you seem to know.

Hmm, wasn't able to stack the two coupons for some reasons. They just overrode the previous one I entered.

i think coupons are not stackable. also bing cashback won't work with coupons?

I was checking out coupons for Canadians a week ago or just less than a week. It seemed they were stackable. If I had the money at the time, it would have been a great deal, I had to admit. I chose most of the top of the line options and with a 35% off coupon plus another one, I got it down to something like $1022 for a T510.
I would only buy something like that so I would wait until such coupons. -
When I ordered my T510, the opposite happened. The day after, there were more discounts available... -

Right now there's a huge sale on the Canadian site.
Using their eCoupon was able to get the W510 - specs in the sig, for 1.3k including taxes. Couldn't resist this offer. -

Lol, my config was 1,294.00 CAD and on the US website with the coupon in your link the price is 1,400,00 USD.

Those coupons (for Canadians) don't exist anymore so I don't know what some of you are talking about. The ones with good discounts for the T-series are way gone, over a week ago and they were only good for about 3 days.
The T-series are too expensive for me now so I'm looking at other options, at least, for now. -
The sale ended yesterday, so you probably missed it by a few hours.

There was no FHD option when I ordered mine.
Do you think it's possible to add it to the current order if it's not processed yet, without cancelling and re-ordering? -

my guess would be no, but its worth a call.
Guess I missed out on the Thinkpad sale?
