    Hi all.
I'm looking for video card benchmarking results comparing the Lenovo T60p containing a FireGL V5200 (256 or 512mb versions) to a T61 containing the nVidia Quadro NVS 140m. I've seen discussion about the two cards around the forums, but I'm looking for a direct comparison, either by means of benchmarks, or, if anyone has or can make them, FPS rates in various games (World of Warcraft,, BF2/2142, Dark Messiah, etc). Does anyone know definitively if the T61's card is superior to the T60's card? If so, by how much? If not, by how much does it underperform? Thanks!
Technical stats on the two cards, such as core clock, memory clock, memory bandwidth, etc, might also be helpful, but are less my consideration.

You can find all the specs at ati.amd.com and nvidia.com

It's a reasonable guess that the FireGL V5200 is more powerful than the Quadro 140m. However the nVidia card is directx 10 capable; the FireGL V5200 is DirectX 9. The upcoming NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M is DirectX 10 capable and probably more powerful than the FireGL V5200 and probably more capable of gaming as well, but it isn't actually designed for games.

Why not just wait for the T61P?

Or the HP 8510w, which will have the choice of FX 570M or ATI FireGL V5600?
Or the HP8510p, which will have the HD 2600?

Not wait for the T61P? Because through my university's purchasing program, the 61 is $1440 and the 61P is $2100 - $2200.
    The HP XXX?
In my experience, HP has a horrible, horrible track record with laptops, mainly heat issues.
The decision's not really up to me, though. I'm looking into this for a friend.
    Thanks for the comparison. :)
