    Graphic... T60p VS XXXX

    Hi guys! I'm a brand new user of this forum, but some time I jump here to collect information, and all the time all my doubts are clarified :D

    But now there is a topic that make me really confuse :confused: , so I need to ask directly your help :rolleyes: ...

    as from the name of the thread my question is regarding the most confused part of notebook world....the Graphic...

    I'm looking to buy the T60p with 15" monitor 1600*1200 4gb ram ecc ecc, for 2 reasons, from my point of view and per my experience Lenovo/Ibm are the best pc for work, and i need this particoular model because I working with Catia' for 3d and mechanical drawing, so for me is the best product for this reasons...

    however my dark side is that after working time i'm a full time player and i like play with all the games that ask to the GPU maximum performance :D (HL2, F.E.A.R., Oblivion ecc ecc...)...
    Based on this I started to collect information about GPU on desktop and i found the article "Notebook Video Graphics Card Guide" and the revision 2006, but in both of them the GPU of T60p is not mentioned...

    The GPU is ATI Mobility FireGL V5250 with 256ram, and my idea was "if with this notebook I can use Catia'.....I can play with everithing :D "...but now i'm not anymore sure about that :( , and my second doubt is "Is this PC Windows Vista Ready??" (aero...) :confused: .

    Can you please help me to clarify the confusion that i have in my mind???
    Even because T60p is not really cheap product..... :p

    I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Z61p with a ATI Mobility FireGL V5200.
    It runs Windows Vista fine with Aero on and it runs F.E.A.R. fine on medium settings. I havent played HL2 or Oblivion on it, but your V5250 should be better than my V5200. Look at this post http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=84095

    Also, they don't offer 1600X1200 screen, they only have 1400X1050 for 15" and 1680X1050? for 15.4"
