Just as the title says, do u have one. I ran pc wizard and it gave me an LP screen so i assume its a lg screen.

Screen is grainy, but not as bad as the vostro 1500 i returned a while back. What do u guys think?

    Very little for my eyes.

Out of the 3 T61 screens that i had, this one is the best.

When was yours manufactured ? mine is 2005.

mine has grain, but i've gotten used to it. i blame this forum for any fault i find with this computer. however, i am content. (except for the bright red stuck pixel in the center of my screen. oh well)

Since i just got mine t61p, i assume it was manufactored this yr?

I have 1 stuck blue pixel on the left side, the tapping method worked once, but its back again. Oh well.

Im tempted to use my onsite warranty.........

They won't replace the LCD for 1 stuck pixel. I believe you'll need a number of pixels before they will replace an LCD. Probably more then 6-8 stuck or dead pixels.

Also what do you mean "I ran pc wizard and it gave me an LP screen so i assume its a lg screen." just pop the model number into google and you should be able to find which screen it is. having an LP in the model number doesn't necessarily mean LG screen as far as I know.

Well your computer was assembled this year. but the components could be manufactured whenever.... PC Wizrd actually shows that information as well.

Yah I got a red one on the right side... tapping, massaging, nothing works...
Aside from that the screen is brilliantly lit, hardly any light leakage, and no graininess to it. It's an LG which does make me happy. The clarity is excellent and very sharp.
