    Lenovo is having the super sale on their thinkpads right now. I got this r61 setup for less than $1000. $939 after taxes.
    T8100 Core 2 Duo
    Vista Home Premium
    14.1in WXGA+
    NVIDIA Quadro
    2GB ram
    100gb 7200 rpm HDD
    1GB Turbo Memory
    DVD Burner
    WI-fi ABG
    6 cell battery.
    I also found an online coupon that removed another 6%-7% off the purchase and shipping was free. This was like the best deal ever because my bank refuses to up my limit of $1000 (broke student) so I had to wait for an unbelievable deal. I recommend that anyone thinking of a lenovo should get it now. I originally wanted a notebook with an 8600m in it. But I realized that would not be gaming on this, so it should have enough power for anything else. I'm so excited, I can't wait.

    hmm i tried the coupn and it didn't work for me.

    i also ordered a R6 yesterday. i got a few more bells and whistles but was right at 1200.00 out the door +ttl.

    We'll see how i like it when it gets here.
