This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Got a winload.exe boot error

    This is usually resolved by simply booting your system with the Vista disc or whatever version of windows you are running, and repairing windows files. How do we do this on a Thinkpad since we are not given the OS Disc? I don't see anything in rescue and recovery that would allow me to do this.
