    I ordered the following configurations on a R61 on sunday. Can you please comment on it..

    It looks good to me. Price seems good too.

    My T61p came in a week. I don't know if R61 shipping is dfferent. It also depends where you are. I'm in the US.

    That seems to be a pretty great deal, if i was to buy it only change i would make is 250gb 5400rpm which is probably like 50 bucks more.


    If my T61p buying plans fall through I may have to get R61 because it seems so similar to T61 (non P) other than weight which would be only reason to buy T over R though R is cheaper in some cases by a lot others not that much if they have same gfx.

    I wanted to get it with a webcam but the +TFT does not come with a webcam? Therefore, it was a decision between the +TFT and the webcam and i decided that since i can add a webcam later on but won't be able to improve on the screen so i went ahead with the specified configuration.

    Also, can you please advise if the above configuration will be able to read 4GB of RAM? because i had read somewhere that it doesn't and this was the reason that i got it with 3GB of RAM.

    And since I am also in the US, thereby one of the comments from above implies that I can also expect to receive it within a week's time....

    Thanks for your help and improving my confidence on what i ordered... I just can't wait to get my hands on it... Currently I am checking the order status website every 15 mins .....

    Apparently you CAN get the 14.1 wxga+ screen with a webcam. I've heard US people can't configure it on the website but they have called in and a CS rep was able to configure it after going in to the "backend". On the Canadian website you can configure it that way on your own.
