It's a simple fix, as soon as you recover using Lenovo Recovery discs, go to windows update and make sure you download Update (KB2533552) before you update anything else.

-This update is meant for Windows 7 SP 1, it's been created to stop the problem from occurring. Some might have gotten lucky when they updated and maybe this update was done first before the rest. I know I did't always have to do this.

    This should fix your problem!

    UPDATE 1:

Seems like this is an issue for me, since I switched my SSD for a 256 GB Adata SX900, if I go into msconfig and switch No GUI boot, it corrupts my boot loader. I'm not sure if any1 else has this problem. Nothing can be done once this happens, Windows repair, windows recovery nothing fixes it...only reformat or Complete System recovery.
