    Hi,
When I requested Windows7 upgraded CD, I think I requested a home premium and just found out I have ultimate on my system.

Does anyone know if I can use Home premium on my system or is there a way to purchase Ultimate from Lenovo again.

First of all you should ask lenovo. But figure out if it is worth the effort and if you care for the w7 features that are in ultimate.

    Thanks Jaredy.

I will talk to Lenovo. I don't think my Ultimate product code will work with Premium code so I think I will have to use the ultimate anyways. Am I wrong?

My Professional 64-bit disk had ALL of the installations, it installs the correct version according to your product key.

    Try this.
    1. Put in the key when asked, if it works just fine, that's good.
    2. Don't put in the key, and it might ask you to choose which edition to install from. When installed, activate.
    3. Install Home Premium, then use the Anytime Upgrade, Choose Ultimate than put in your key...

If nothing works, I think the Windows 7 disks from Digital River or something works as any installation disk

Thanks for the info. I will try these out.

When I first insert the CD & said upgrade, it failed saying I have ultimate & can't install Home Premium. May be I should do a clean install & it might work. I will definitely give these a try
