Lenovo App Shop has closed up for good and Lenovo says l should go to the Google Play Store. However, I'm unable to download any apps from there. l only tried to download a few free dictionary apps, but I get the "You haven't accessed the Google Play Store app (the white shopping bag app icon) on your device with this email account."

    Is the X230T not compatible?

Or, do I need to download the Google Play Store App first (instead of accessing it through my browser)? If so, what do I need to run it since I can only find it as a apx file.

It's a bit frustrating having a tablet without being able to get apps for it, but it's not a major problem.

    What?

    X230T is Windows.
    Google Play Store is Android.

You cant run Android apps on Windows natively.

Correct, Lenovo shut its App Store on its Android tablets, it has nothing to do with your Windows PC.
