Good Deal on New Notebooks from Lenovo Outlet... these are not REFURB...but rather they are NeW......Lenovo discribes new as

"New Outlet notebooks meet the following criteria:
    Order canceled and never shipped.
    Customer returned Notebook unopened. "

Adavntage: Cheap and no wait time for shipping...they ship the next day...plus it comes with one year warranty..

I've been quoted 7 to 10 days on these models in the past. Are you sure they ship next day?

Back to mid April, I got my T61 for about $670 (tax included) after fat cash. The specs is:
    CPU: T8100
    HDD: 80GB
    Monitor: wxga+ 14.1''
with Bluetooth and other regular configuration.

Except the blut-tint monitor (samsung??), I am very satisfied with my T61.

I'd like to remind everybody that sharing CPP codes is prohibited by NotebookReview as well as Lenovo. Any posting of any CPP Code will result in an infraction, or ban.

When you're choosing an R61 to customize & buy, it should be labeled ThinkPad R61 (15.4" or 14.1)" widescreen with discrete graphics. Or to be more specific, just look at the system graphics on the specifications listed below the green customize & buy button.

I've had good experience ordering from the Canadian Outlet.

I ordered early morning and got my brand new Lenovo 3000 V200 0764-2CU for $609 by the next business day.

Only downside is that the return period is only 7 days and you cannot customize it.
