    Few questions:
    Good deal or not?
What speed of ram will I be able to upgrade to in the future?
What will I be missing if I order now, instead of waiting until the summer?(in terms of technology and deals-from lenovo or dell)
Any upgrades on this configuration I should make?
What type of games will I be able to play?(list of current games that will run well is fine)

    Thanks

I'd upgrade the memory yourself. That's usually the cheapest route. Without knowing your needs, it's kind of hard to assess whether it's a good deal. If you're happy with what you got and the price you paid, who cares.

You'll be limited to PC5300 memory and you're already maxed.

You'll miss Montevina, Intel's newest platform which probably isn't a big deal. Lenovo and/or Dell unfortunately don't share information with the users here about upcoming deals.

I like to get the DVD burner if only to make the recovery discs.

I'm not really a gamer. If you're looking to play the latest and greatest with high settings, you should probably look at the T61p.

If that is the price you got quoted going through the EPP site that you asked me for, then yes, it is the best deal you will get in Canada.

upgrade to DVD-RW at the very least.

You will need a 64 bit OS to recognize all 4GB.

Basically what everyone eles said but with a few additions you will miss out on Montevina but its not as big a deal as alot of people think. All it will do is take advantage of all Penryns goodies so some extra performance little more battery life.

The only real wait would be for Nahalem and its new platform but that will be lat ethis year early next year.
