    Wow that really is great price! I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy T42 if I'd be able to buy it at that price. Too bad laptops are so expencive here in Europe :(

    What do you think about the SXGA+ screen on that model? I've seen it in a Fujitsu laptop. The resolution is fine, but the screen wasn't as fast as a normal XGA screen (for example when you drag a window from left to right).

    It looks to me as if you bought the T42 2378FVU.

    Unless you can buy thru an employee discount, the best prices are from IBM's edu. or credit card web sites.
