Does anyone have the e-mail address or phone + extension for a good(read: helpful, friendly, responsive) CS Rep or Salesman? I need to call and check on my order and don't want it to get screwed up by an incompetent Lenovo drone.

    Thanks!

I think you won't wait too long, I called them last week several times. normally I just waited about 1-2 minutes.

I'm not worried about the wait - I'm worried about somebody messing up my order/shipment/etc :)

"Friendly" does not imply responsible. It is the latter that counts. A rep I dealt with sounded very friendly and promised me that if my canceled order did get shipped email him and he'll re-route it to the return center. Well I emailed him and never heard from him...until today when I called and unfortunately for him it was him again to pick up the phone! Haha! He couldn't explain why he didn't answer my email, and was nothing like the other day. (Otherwise I would have recommended him to you)

Promise everything. Do nothing. The new CSRs' mantra, it seems. Most annoying.

    How can one reach him?

According to my experience some reps tell you what their name are but when they send you emails they have completely different names.

I wonder if there's a CSR who is a total ass but makes sure everything you asked is done: cancelling orders, answering questions accurately, etc.
