I looked up global warranty for those 2, but it seems like they don't offer global warranty for them. Tough Lenovo offers it for the old T400/500. My question is therefore: Will it be upgraded later into global warranty, when those new thinkpad are also launched in other countries. It's almost impossible for me to imagine, that Lenovo doesn't offer global warranty for their primary business notebooks.

2nd question: Did anyone ever tried to upgrade warranty if a different country? Short illustration: I bought my T410 in the US, but since I work now in the UK, I upgrade warranty from the UK Lenovo online shop. Is that possible?

I know these are rather tough questions :)

I can't call the US Lenovo support, because I live in Germany. And I found no email contact regarding warranty questions. :/
