I have 2 laptops (r61 and HP) and an internet tablet with all the same software both protected by AVG security suites, but I seem to have a problem sending e-mails with the r61. I only use my g-mail or my yahoo accounts and I check them both through the browser. I can send e-mails with all the other systems except this one. Anyone else experience this issue with their lenovo? I tried both IE and firefox. I can check, but not send, and it's something with the system. Any ideas?

this seems more a software problem than a ThinkPad problem. Prob'ly has to do with the browser of AVG setup. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that. At any rate, have you tried disabling AVG and then sending mail? If it works, AVG configuration is your problem--if not you've cleared AVG.

What firewall are you using? Are those the problems?
