Argh! I went through the telephone support for the first time last night and got a really ignorant technical support person who told me that my event viewer warning, which paradoxically suggested my wireless 5100 card had a token ring cable disconnected, was a software problem, and that Lenovo didn't do "software support."

Since the "software" came with the machine, I hardly see why. I also can't seem to find email support anywhere.

I'd like to just swap out the 5100 for a 5300, but I have no idea where to begin and I can't find a decent sales contact email to do so.

This after deciding that Lenovo didn't have a hope in hell of resolving the actual issue: "Ah Googulled you errah message but cain't fahnd nuthin!"

Maybe you have already done this, but why not call back again and see if you get a different rep. Maybe this person can be more helpful.
