I bought an R61 the end of July when they had the deal on T5470 processors. There was an option for an extra 10% off at checkout that applied to the order. Luckily, I saved the checkout confirmation because the discount didn’t show up on the email confirmation. I sent the proof to a rep at Lenovo, but he said they couldn’t make any changes until after it ships. It has now shipped and I still don’t see the 10% discount applied to the invoice receipt.

I’d like to know if anyone has had this kind of problem and success getting them to adjust the price and how. I’m kind of worried that they won’t honor the price – their website is screwy and deals, discounts, and coupons seem to come and go by the minute. If I hadn’t thought to save the checkout confirmation I’d be out of luck and it's not such a slick deal without 10% off.
