    Hey guys,

I just installed Windows 7 x64 on my new X200s and everything works great as far as I know except for BT. I downloaded the Lenovo drivers for Windows Vista x64 but during the installation it says that no BT has been detected. Any ideas?

Have you tried to see if you can use BT in Vista? If you also can't, then it may be disabled in BIOS by default.

The problem is you haven't turned your Bluetooth radio on. This can generally only be adjusted by using Access Connections.

You can try and install Access Connections on 7, but you may run into compatibility problems (it is a Beta OS after all). If you are unable to install Access Connections, you will need to revert to Vista (or possibly a Live Linux distro [e.g. Ubuntu]) to turn the Bluetooth radio ON.

Then, you can go back to 7, you should see a Bluetooth device in device manager, and you can point Windows to the Vista driver for Bluetooth and you should be all set.

If you have the Lenovo tools installed, pressing Fn+F5 will allow you to turn on/off your WiFi and Bluetooth.

Firstly, it's a hassle to get the hotkey utilities installed :p Secondly, once it's installed, it only has the option to enable/disable wireless, Bluetooth isn't shown in the menu.

I forgot how I did it on my last install, but I have to figure it out again! haha.

Ok, just remembered what to do to get Bluetooth showing :p

You gotta install the Lenovo system driver first, then you need a registry hack to get the hotkey drivers working... make this key in your registry:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Controls Folder\Display\shellex\PropertySheetHandlers]

Then install your hotkey app, then it should work :)
