I'm interested in the ThinkPad W500, but I would like to know how large its palm rests are. I have large hands and like large palm rests. If someone here has a W500, could you measure the distance from the bottom of the CTRL or SPACEBAR keys to the front edge of the computer? Also,

    - Is the palm rest flat? Is it level if the laptop is resting on a level surface?

    - What does the very front edge of the computer look like? Is it gently rounded (with about what radius)? Is it a sharp edge, like a right angle?

    Thanks,
    Mike

The distance from bottom of CTRL to the lower edge is approximately 3-9/16 inches. The palm rest is flat but tapers slightly starting 5/16 inch from the front edge. The front edge is flat.
