    Hello, new here
A lot to cover so lets get to it.
A lot of controversy in regards to the Lenovo Y50-70 (all models) but honestly i think she is a solid machine. Even if i did get it for $200 on Offerup :)
Anyways, when it comes to gaming the y50-70.. (Oh yeah my specs!!!)
    ×16gb ram
    860m 4gb vRam
    i7-4700HQ?
    225gb SSD
    4k UHD IPS what?
    ..
Can be versatile. I have enjoyed League with low temps at amazing frame rates. The Division at a great 100+ FPS.
But before we all start spamming
y50-70's like T-34's in WWII, we need to also take into consideration the issues you run into when trying to achieve top performance.
I got my Lenovo & immediately downloaded The Division. Great game. It recommended medium settings & the highest res which was like 3800* something.
Pretty sure i was getting like 15 fps lol
But i changed it. Lowered it all down to lowest settings. And was receiving 120+ FPS & the game looked great. People complain about the screen and its angles? But it looks amazing? Where the hell are you watching your stuff? In a park while its raining?
Anyways, it did get fairly warm. But I've have other " gaming laptops " and this baby is cold compared to the others where you could literally burn your hand if you kept it there longer than 5 seconds. But the y50-70 gave me temps at 165-175°F
But again, i am running The Division on a " Notebook " which i got for $200.
She feels kinda warm to the touch but when playing League if Legends she barely gets over 150°F
Now to the 48fps or 48hz thing. I actually had to tweak my settings and go back and forth with the resolution to actually get my monitor to stay or achieve 48. I like it that way. I feel like the higher the fps the hotter the machine is working. Especially when playing big games like The Division.
Idk what everyone else is getting or doing to get the fps or optimal settings to achieve awesome gaming experience lmk :)
    ..
I was thinking about using my y50-7p with an extended monitor. I want to do whatever i can to take pressure off the notebook. Also does turning vsync on help or hurt the healthy stabilization of the game? On Division it turned ON seemed OK. But on League it was choppy?
But then again the division did need it an league didn't. (weird)
Anyways let me know what you think is the best settings for gameplay. I run on balanced & my specs are listed. Playing with charger on is a must. Obv.
