I'm strongly considering a T61 (in addition to the m1330) and I have a couple of questions about the graphics adapter. I'm not looking to do any gaming on the T61, but I want something that runs Vista's Aero UI well and that can drive an external DVI monitor at 1400x1050 (I have a Samsung 204B). I'm going to get the WXGA+ display so I'm wondering if the X3100 will be able to drive both it and the external monitor well.

Also, what's the difference in battery life with the integrated as opposed to discrete graphics?
