So i bought this laptop June 16, It's not very old.. Wondering about my temps.. I dont do anything crazy with it except, browse, youtube, music, maybe a movie and thats about it. I noticed if I put the computer in "Balanced" mode the fans come on every like 5 minutes I feel like, but If i stick it in power saver they come on every so often, Highest I've seen my laptop get is 59/60c ever and that was when i was encoding. (i tried stressing it to see how hot it would get, the first day i bought it). The fans kick on every time the temp seems to hit 50c. I've never really owned a laptop before so i'm not very familiar with operating temperatures, and what is considered normal.. but here are my temps...

I would say your CPU temps are fine. My 17" is in the ballpark too when it's idle. I wouldn't worry too much about the fans coming on - maybe that's what's needed to keep those temps. My fans are on low most of the time too.
