Kinda hard to say, what do you plan on doing with the laptop exactly?

If it's just basic stuff such as watching movies, internet, emails, ms office stuff, etc. Then yes, its enough, but I wouldn't recommend an i3 to anyone really.

I'm not sure what all the bad things you are referring to 'internetguy'. The only problems that seemed to be a consistent complaint from owners of this laptop was the trackpad and left/right buttons associated with it.

Just know the i3 is an entry level cpu, and does not feature turbo boost. The reason I stated the deal would be good because the laptop price is indeed very low, and if you only need to do basic computing then the laptop should be fine for that type of usage. Other things being that the 1366x768 isn't a very good resolution on a 15.6" laptop, but if screen res isn't a big concern that shouldn't be a problem. Also, the hard drive is 5400rpm as oppose to the standard 7200rpm, but like I said you wouldn't notice a huge difference if you are only doing light computing.

The G560 is already one generation old, there is the G570 out already.

If you are worried about quality, then get the ThinkPad edge or ThinkPad T510 machine, if you look around there should be some good deals to be had.

That isn't that great of a deal. The screen, CPU (current-gen equivalent), and GPU combo should cost about $500.

Wait a little bit for a new HP DV6t coupon to come out, then get one with the base specs plus the 1920x1080 display. Just a week ago, you could get one for $622 in that config. The 1920x1080 display is a huge improvement over the 1366x768 junk in the G5x0. 15.6" 1366x768 screens make text huge and make it difficult to fit more than one window onscreen at a time, because 1366x768 is the same resolution used in 12-inch laptops. 15.6" 1366x768 screens also have bad image quality since they're budget-grade screens. The screen makes more of a difference than any other configurable spec, especially for basic usage, because it affects everything you do and not just performance-intensive tasks.

Large text can be good if your eyesight requires it, but that's about it.
